Find a name. Explore their work. Connect directly.
This first edition is a seed list of U.S.-based directors. Representation status and availability have not yet been verified.Frequently asked questions
Is this a talent agency?
No. Bid Freelance is an independent directory that links directly to directors’ own websites.
Why did we create this site?
From one freelance director to another: this stuff is really hard. Referrals are half the business, and getting your work in front of the right people can be a job in itself. I wanted to create one centralized list that we can share with thousands of producers across North America. A simple way to help more directors get seen and get in the mix.
I’m an international director. Can I get on the site?
International is coming soon. For now, the directory is for directors based in the United States.
How do I view a director’s work?
Click their name to open their portfolio in a new tab.
Are the directors available for a project?
Contact each director through their website to confirm availability and representation.
How can I submit my work?
Visit the Submission page to submit your details.
How long does the submission process take?
This site is curated by humans. Please allow 7–14 days for your submission to be reviewed.
Can I have my name taken down from the website?
Of course. Please email operator@bid-freelance.com, and we’ll promptly remove your name for any reason.
All other questions, please contact operator@bid-freelance.com.
